Perdomo Habano Maduro – An Amazing Smoke:
The Perdomo Habano Maduro, Robusto cigar I am having the pleasure of smoking is rolled with a fermented habano seed maduro wrapper. The moment I placed this cigar in my mouth, it exploded with flavor. It wasn’t a particularly good taste, but as the initial shock went away, the flavor began to set in. I am drinking a German Lager from Kirkland Signature at Costco. So far, the combination is perfect, everything is going down smooth. I asked my friends around me what they thought about the smell of the cigar. Everyone thought that the odor was mild, some didn’t even notice the smell until I mentioned it. This is definitely a cigar that can be smoked around people without offending anyone.

1/4 way down and I’m adapting to the taste. There is nothing negative that is striking my palette as it has adjusted to handle the maduro flavor. Right now everything is going smooth, and I am starting to enjoy the flavor.

1/2 way down now and it’s starting to develop a new flavor, hitting my tongue with a mild spice; nothing offensive about it. The cigar is still going very smooth, it is very easy and enjoyable to continuously take puffs. I am now starting to develop a mild buzz – it is actually quite enjoyable. The burn of the cigar is absolutely perfect; it is even and a little on the slow side – just how I want it to be when I’m really enjoying the cigar.

3/4 down and the cigar is still holding its flavor. It’s beginning to develop a bit of an aftertaste, but nothing overwhelming. I am so happy with the flavor that I want to keep smoking to the very end.

I am at the nub and the cigar is still smoking great. The burn is a little uneven now, but I certainly don’t mind at this point. The aftertaste is still present, but it’s not stopping me from smoking further.

I went all the way with this cigar. This is a great smoke that I definitely recommend to cigar smokers. It is perfect with a beer, but I can see it going just as well with a nice red wine. You can smoke it in a crowd, as the aroma is very mild and won’t offend people around you. There was really nothing I can say that was negative about my experience, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same way about it.
