Wii Sports Resort

I woke up bright and early on Sunday just to head out to Target and buy this game. No, I’m not a crazy Wii Sports fan, I just know that when games are in high demand, it will probably be hard to get. The reason I believe this game will be in very high demand is because it’s bundled with the Wii Motion Plus. Alone, this device will cost you around $20. Just like Wii Play sold millions of copies because it had a WiiMote bundled in the package, this game is expected to perform as well.

The Wii Motion Plus is a small add-on that connects to the end of your WiiMote. It is the device that brings motion accuracy to the Wii. Wii Sports Resort is the first game to take advantage of Nintendo’s new add on. Just as the first Wii Sports was a great game to showcase what the Wii can do, Wii Sports Resort is the perfect way to introduce Wii owners to the Wii Motion Plus. Many of the mini games are controlled very well, and I had a lot of fun playing all of them. My favorite is the table tennis because you can switch from a regular swing to a back hand. You can even apply some spin to the ball, and do power shots.

My only regret with this game is that I didn’t buy another Wii Motion Plus. I love playing this game by myself, but it is definitely meant to be played with friends. I recommend Wii Sports Resort for all Wii owners; it is a must own. I am excited just thinking of how game developers are going to take advantage of the Wii Motion Plus. The future looks bright for gamers.

   I really like the variety of games!

   You can do easy ’sit-down’ games to just unwind, or do more active stuff as well!

   Sorry, I just checked and I hit 99 on intermediate, not expert.

   I just bought another Wii Motion Plus so that two players can play. It is really nice. Dueling in fun as well as the dog fights. Table Tennis is still one of my favorites.

   hmmm. that’s odd. I usually work the site through firefox, and everything looks ok. I know I need to fix it up on ie7 and 6. It is a work in progress, so it will eventually get to where I want it to go. Easier to work on when I was unemployed.
